Activated with a thumb turn lever from inside the house or a key from outside the home, this system’s commercial grade security make it impossible to pry the door open with conventional burglar tools without destroying the door (when purchased as a double panel door)… and making a whole lot of noise in the process!
Double Panel or Single Panel:
The Tru-Frame Sliding security screen door can be ordered with single or double security panels.

Double Panel: Most customers order their sliding security screen door as a double panel configuration. Ordering your door with two mesh panels allow it to cover and protect your entire sliding glass door: One security mesh panel covers the sliding glass door, while the second mesh panel covers the fixed portion of your sliding glass door. When it comes time to wash the windows, the “stationary” side panel can be unlocked and rolled to the side in order to expose the fixed portion of your sliding glass door for cleaning.
Single Panel: For the more price-conscious consumers or for folks who are more concerned with durability rather than security, you also have the option of ordering the sliding security screen door as a single panel configuration. This means that only the sliding glass door will be protected with a single security mesh panel. This is the perfect solution for homeowners who are tired of replacing their sliding screen door because of pets, children, or drunk friends! Be aware, however, that it will not be possible to have a second security panel to cover the fixed side of your home’s sliding glass door added on at a later point.
Colors: For the best two-way visibility, the sliding security screen door’s stainless steel mesh is always black. The Lock Handles are also always black.
