Well, you asked, so let me tell you about it.

We just re-finished our beautiful oak front door because the sun had ruined the finish in just a few short years.  After taking so much time and effort to strip, sand, stain, seal, and then re-hang our front door, I didn’t want to repeat the experience all over again anytime soon!    And since the sun sets in the font of our house, my doorknob would often get so hot that I couldn’t even touch it to open the door without a towel to protect my hand!
